Alerts & Notifications
The Everlight App includes an alerting and notification system designed to keep node operators informed of critical events without requiring constant manual monitoring.
Alerts are generated based on protocol-defined conditions related to node health, performance, and network activity. Notifications are intended to prompt timely operator response while avoiding unnecessary noise.
Alerts and notifications within the Everlight App include:
• Uptime degradation or node availability issues • Performance threshold breaches that may affect BTC compensation eligibility • Changes in routing activity or participation status • BTC distribution events and completed payout epochs • Network updates or protocol-level notices relevant to node operators
Alerts are delivered through the App interface and may also be delivered through supported notification channels, depending on operator preferences and configuration.
The alerting system does not take automated corrective action on behalf of operators. Responsibility for node maintenance and remediation remains with the operator. The App’s role is to surface actionable information clearly and promptly.
By providing timely alerts and notifications, the Everlight App helps operators maintain high performance standards and reduces the risk of unintentional downtime or compensation loss due to missed operational issues.
